How Middlesex Sound and Lighting, Stonegate Group, and Habitech delivered an immersive sports bar experience powered by Sonance Professional, Samsung, and WyreStorm.
Clubhouse5, operated by Stonegate Pub Company and located in the heart of London, is a sports bar designed to set a new benchmark for the sector. Middlesex Sound and Lighting, led by Director Darrell Olivier with over 40 years of AV experience, was entrusted with delivering an audiovisual installation that would transform the venue into a destination for sports fans. With distribution support from Habitech, the project brought together six technology partners to create something truly special.
The brief for Clubhouse5 was ambitious: create a sports bar that goes beyond simply showing live sport on screens. Stonegate wanted a venue where every element of the audiovisual experience works together to create an immersive atmosphere, from the moment guests walk through the door to the final whistle.
Darrell Olivier and his team at Middlesex Sound and Lighting approached the project with a clear philosophy. The technology should serve the experience, not dominate it. Every speaker, screen, and control point was specified with the customer journey in mind.

The pendant form factor was chosen for its ability to provide even coverage across the open-plan layout, ensuring that whether guests are at the bar, in a booth, or standing in the main viewing area, the audio experience is consistently excellent.
Powersoft Quattra Canali amplification drives the speaker system, providing the headroom and reliability needed for a commercial venue that operates at high volume for extended periods. BSS Audio processing ensures that the audio routing is handled with precision, allowing different zones to be managed independently.
The visual centrepiece of Clubhouse5 is a Samsung 4x2 commercial video wall, delivering a stunning large-format display that commands attention from every angle. Specified for its exceptional brightness and colour accuracy, the video wall provides a cinematic viewing experience for live sport that simply cannot be replicated on conventional screens.
Samsung commercial displays are deployed throughout the venue, ensuring that there is no dead viewing space anywhere in the bar. Combined with WyreStorm's video distribution platform, any source can be routed to any screen with complete flexibility.
